Abstract

This study examines the application of the Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm Model for fifth grade students at SDN 12 Kota Barat, City of Gorontalo. The Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm Model is an approach or learning model that emphasizes the development of reflective thinking and active involvement of students in the teaching-learning process. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to apply the Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm Learning Model to the learning process of fifth grade students at SDN 12 West City of Gorontalo City, the purpose of this research is to describe how to apply the Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm Learning Model to the Learning Process of fifth grade students at SDN 12 Kota West of Gorontalo City. This research was conducted using a case study approach with a qualitative research type. The subjects of this research were 21 students of class V at SDN 12 Kota Barat. The results of this study indicate that the application of the reflective pedagogical paradigm model can improve the quality of fifth grade students' learning. This model provides opportunities for students to be actively involved in learning, develop critical thinking skills, and build deeper understanding. Students experience an increase in learning interest through the application of a reflective pedagogical paradigm model. They feel more motivated and enthusiastic in participating in learning because the material presented is relevant to everyday life and they have an active role in managing learning.
