MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL PECAHAN BIASA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU PECAHAN PADA SISWA KELAS II SDN 25 KOTA SELATAN
Abstract
The problem statement of this research is "Can the use of fraction card media improve the students' ability to recognize ordinary fractions in class II of SDN 25 Kota Selatan?". This research aims to improve the students' ability to recognize ordinary fractions using fraction card media in class II of SDN 25 Kota Selatan. This is a classroom action research with 9 students in class II as the subjects. This research is conducted in two cycles, and cach cycle consists of 4 stages, namely the preparation stage, the action implementation stage, the monitoring and evaluation stage, and the analysis and reflection stage. The finding in cycle I shows that 3 students (33%) score 75 and above according to the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) or complete, while 6 students (67%) score 75 and below or incomplete. In cycle II, there is an improvement, namely 8 out of 9 students (89%) score above 75 or complete, and only 1 student (11%) scores below 75 or incomplete. The results in cycle II have reached the specified performance indicators. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of fraction card media can improve the students' ability to recognize ordinary fractions in class II of SDN 25 Kota Selatan.
