Abstract

Abstract: As a requirement for promotion to rank and class, writing and publishing scientific articles is an important thing for teachers at any career stage. One of the problems in developing teacher professionalism so far is related to the issue of writing and publishing scientific papers in scientific journals. The aim of this community service activity is to provide motivation and materials for writing sports scientific articles in an effort to improve the quality of professional competence of teachers in Probolinggo RegencyThe method of implementing activities is through training and mentoring, where material is presented in the training session through demonstration and discussion. Meanwhile, mentoring will be carried out by a team using the long-distance guidance method as a medium for teachers to consult when writing a scientific article and publishing it. The result of the activity was an increase in participants' knowledge of writing and publishing scientific papers. Evaluation of the implementation of PKM based on filling out questionnaires by participants with a score range of 0–5 was obtained on the implementation indicator with a score of 4.52, on the material indicator with a score of 4.46, and on the speaker indicator with a score of 4.47.
