Peran orang tua pada pemenuhan gizi seimbang pada anak kelompok B di TK Amanah
Abstract
Parents must be able to organize their children’s eating patterns, create enjoyable mealtime situations, and present appealing foods to meet their nutritional needs. As primary caregivers, mothers play a crucial role in various food-related tasks, including meal planning, purchasing, food preparation, shaping children’s eating habits, and managing their eating frequency. Nutrition encompasses all aspects of food that contain six essential nutrients: water, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and vitamins. This study aims to determine the extent of parental roles in fulfilling the balanced nutritional needs of group B children at TK Amanah Kindergarten in Linawan Village, Pinolosian District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study employed a qualitative method. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data obtained was verified using triangulation techniques. Based on the study findings, it can be concluded that parents’ efforts in providing breakfast and meals for their children are quite good. They select foods with balanced nutrition, encompassing the “4 healthy 5 perfect” principle, prepare meals themselves, and create varied menus. TK Amanah Kindergarten in Linawan often holds monthly parenting sessions with parents and collaborates with nearby health centers.
