The entire spectrum of research in the areas of non-formal, value, and assessment in public education is well received.

Community empowerment is an effort made to develop community potential and overcome various problems that exist in society. In a deeper sense, community empowerment refers to providing strength to the community based on its potential and needs. Empowering provides a diverse and interesting context for learning in the non-formal sphere to be discussed. Therefore, the scope of public education is an important part of the focus and scope of the journal. Research ideas on this related topic can be traced to the work of andragogy theory (Malcolm Knowles), social pedagogy/diamond theory by Jean-Jacques Roussesu, critical pedagogy theory by Paulo Freire, public pedagogy by Jurgen Hubermas as well as the development of ethno pedagogy, heutagogy and cybergogy theories.

The concept of community empowerment, especially in the context of teaching and studying areas of expertise in society, is an area that is rarely implemented in social life, even though many people have differences in their respective ideas. This makes many people reluctant to do research because no one really seems to know what's worth discussing. But what is clear is that the idea of community empowerment has been at the core of strengthening society from the beginning, and therefore must play a role in research, teaching and learning. Thus, despite the ferment in these discussions, over the years the debate over the scope of public education has provided fertile intellectual opportunities for some scholars to modify, critique, modify, expand, deconstruct, or devise their own particular viewpoints. One way to explore this important scientific field is to note the contributions of various colleagues who have influenced our thinking. Research ideas on this related topic can be explored through other publishers that specifically study the fields of Educational Life Skills, Management of Education, Early childhood Education, Community education, empowerment and counseling, Education literacy and equality including package A, package B and package C, Educational Institution courses and training, Educational skills and job training, Social Science, Humanity, Art, Tourism dan Culture, and other education aimed.
