Potensi Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Di Sekolah Menengah Pertama
Abstract
Pengetahuan asli masyarakat sering dianggap tidak relevan dengan perkembangan zaman sehingga guru IPA mengabaikan potensi lokal dan hanya terpaku pada buku teks umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pembelajaran terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal melaut untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran IPA yang aplikatif dan tetap menjaga eksistensi serta keberlanjutan nilai-nilai lokal. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksploratori yakni observasi, mencari pola dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal dapat dilakukan karena terdapat konsep kimia yaitu proses pengawetan ikan dan persamaan reaksi, fisika mengenai konsep suhu, perpindahan panas, hukum newton dan biologi berkaitan dengan keanekaragaman makhluk hidup serta ekologi. Hasil ini menjadi rekomendasi bagi guru untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal.
