PENGUATAN SOFT SKILL UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN SISWA BERKARAKTER UNGGUL MELALUI OUTBOUND/INBOUND
Abstract
Developing soft skills has become a necessity both in life and the work environment. Apart from getting high grades, a student should also focus on developing these skills effectively in order to better face future challenges. Recognizing the importance of strengthening soft skills, dedication to strengthening soft skills to create students with superior character through outbound/inbound is an effective solution. This community service activity aims to provide information about strengthening soft skills to create students with superior character at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The method of implementing the activity is (1) preparation, including: (a) coordinating with the head of SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari; (b) determining the time for carrying out activities; (c) preparation of training participants; (d) preparation of activity administration; and (e) preparation of tools and materials needed for training activities; and (2) implementation of activities, including: (a) providing material on strengthening soft skills to create students with superior character; (b) outbound/inbound practices guided by resource persons; and (c) reflection on the implementation of outbound/inbound training. The target audience for this activity included students, with a total of 52 audiences attending. Providing information using outbound and inbound methods. The results of this activity show that there is an understanding from the audience regarding optimizing and improving students' soft skills seen from the interactions that occur during the activity.
