Pandangan Teori Kebutuhan Dasar Abraham Maslow dan William Glasser tentang Fenomena Flexing
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi fenomena flexing yaitu perilaku menonjolkan diri dalam konteks media sosial, dengan menghubungkannya dengan pandangan kebutuhan dasar dalam teori-teori psikologi William Glasser dan Abraham Maslow. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Untuk menjaga ketepatan pengkajian dan mencegah kesalahan informasi dalam analisis data maka dilakukan pengecekan antar pustaka dan membaca ulang pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa flexing dapat dilihat sebagai cara individu memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, seperti kekuasaan, pengakuan, penghargaan diri, dan kebutuhan sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang psikologi perilaku flexing dan implikasinya pada kesejahteraan psikologis individu dalam era digital. Diharapkan setiap individu bijak dalam mengabil tindakan.
